Transforming Communities though Micro-Business
Hope for MENA recruited a team of proffesionals to teach a business course to people who currently live in poor conditions with little hope for the future.
The first course will take place November 1-10 in the evenings and is broken down into basic entrepreneurial steps to start a business from scratch. We hope this is the start of a whole new ministry for people living in poverty.
Our vision is to see the refugee community transformed as people build businesses and better lives for themselves and their families. We want to see minds transformed in the way they think about life, so that they see business as working in partnership with God as they strive with hope toward a brighter future.
We aim to inspire and train men and women to start their own businesses, to have regular follow-up with the course participants ensuring that they are being responsible, and to provide help when needed to make their business a success. Also, we want to provide some small loans for the most promising plans to help put them into action, and we are looking for partners to help us with that.
Will you also join us in prayer?
Pray for unity in our team, that the course preparations go well, clear and effective communication, and that the men and women who participate in the course would be motivated and inspired to start their own businesses.
The plan is to end the business course by evaluating the ideas and business plans completed by the course participants and giving the best one(s) a small loan to help get their business going.
We are looking for people who are willing to support this business outreach through donations that will get the “loan wheel” moving. Consider joining us in this endeavor to rebuild families through business and rekindling hope and faith in a great God Who loves them.
