Help feed a child in the Nuba refugee community in Egypt

A beacon of hope

Kuku Kaka (Boy & Girl) School - A beacon of hope among the Nuba Refugee Community in Egypt

More than twenty years of civil war between North and South Sudan, one of the longest civil wars on record, has led to the death of over a million people and left more than two million homeless. The civilian death toll in Sudan's Nuba Mountains is one of the highest of any war since World War II.

There is an influx of thousands of people fleeing their homes and traveling through extreme conditions for a chance of survival in Egypt. These people are in dire need of  basic food, water, medical aid, and housing.

The Kuku Kaka School was established as a beacon of hope in the Nuba Sudanese community in Egypt since 2005, by individual parents who arrived in Cairo as refugees.

Today, the school has 250 children studying in it. The children are currently facing numerous challenges, poor concentration, headaches, stomach pain - especially those who are coming to school without eating.

All of us are feeling the impact of the recent global challenges, but none so much as those who were already living in extreme poverty – especially children whose families can no longer put food on the table.

With only $5 you can provide a daily meal for a child for the entire month. Whether you can help one or ten - please know it will make a huge difference in the life of those who are terrified and trying to survive.

Please give as God leads.
