We serve and advocate for refugees and the unreached communities in the Middle East and North Africa.
We go where others can't. That's why we have the responsibility - The responsibility to help.
Tawseela Centre
The program is responsible to receive all the children that live on the streets and are not part of other regular programs developed by Tawseela Centre. Our target is to build relationships with them and provide adequate self confidence that would enable them to live in society with dignity, reducing the amount of time that they spend on the streets.
We offer:
- Showers and Haircuts
- First aid provided by our trained staff
- Mediating with the parents to improve relationships with their children
- Tutoring classes with the goal of introducing them to the educational system
- Summer camps with sports and educational therapy
- Development programs that equip children with occupational skills such as woodworking
Any contribution to Tawseela Centre will empower us to continue changing lives and restoring hope among the youth and children at risk in North Africa.
center of hope
Hope for MENA supports three local teachers to deliver free education to forty five refugee children to prepare for school. Before the program at the Center of Hope, the children were on the streets, killing time and getting into trouble. Now these children have the opportunity to attend preparatory classes four days per week, where they are provided with a lunch, notebooks and pencils.
We want to see each of these children entering regular school classes after six months of training at the Center of Hope. Then we will start again with a new group of children who are hungry to learn.
Your donation today will help provide:
School supplies
Teacher's salaries
Meals (most refugees are malnourished)
Venue expenses
Together we can make a difference.
Empower women
About 60% of the women that we are working with, are unable to read or write. Because of the war and the persecution they had to face, most of them left school at an early age. Our Adult Education Approach enables women to learn at a time convenient to them and in a way that helps them to care more for their children's education.
This year, about 40 women have been trained to acquire sewing, dying and other relevant practical skills to be able to provide for their own families.
Your gift will help us empower more needy refugee women to help themselves.
Micro-Bunsiess for Transformation
Our vision is to see the refugee community transformed as people build businesses and better lives for themselves and their families. We want to see minds transformed in the way they think about life, so that they see business as working in partnership with God as they strive with hope toward a brighter future. Learn more >>
