Christmas where we live is a time of hope, joy, and giving. But in the devastated slums of North Africa, where we met Ehlas and her 6 children, it’s just another day to survive.
Through God's grace, we have been able to give them hope for a better future and show them how truly loved and cherished they are by our Father in heaven who provides for all of their needs.
This week our summer outreach group showed the Sudanese refugee children Jesus' love by painting the Centre of Hope! Watch the video to see the transformation and hear how painting for Jesus affected the team members.
A whole bunch of children looked at me with curiosity, full of joy and disbelief. They seemed to ask, "Am I really supposed to try these shoes on and see if they fit me? Is it really true that if they fit, they're for me??"
I want to tell you about my experience with depression, why I think God allows some of us to experience it in our lives, and how we can have hope in the midst of it.
