The Hope for MENA team took to the city this week (26 December 2016) to get to know some of the homeless people in North Africa, pray for them and bless them with clothes donations.
The team were met with overwhelming thanks as they approached those in need. From women becoming tearful to men opening up about their lives, it was a great way to meet people and share the love of God with them - through prayer.
The team didn't need to go far to find those in need and the reality is that there are many, of all ages and races, in ripped clothes and ill health with no decent place to stay and little food to sustain them.
Seeing entire families hiding under blankets during a cold winter was also an eye-opening experience.
As the Lord says, the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. Yet, the team remains faithful that God will bless those who have received these clothes and it will give them some comfort.
